The reviews are fake. The reviews are for this website as a whole, not this IR light. The light is a light, but has no power passthrough, making this work for about 1.5-2 hours at best before you have to take it off to let your headset charge properly. All you had to do was let power go through it and it would be as advertised, but you give me a half baked piece of hardware with fake reviews that arent even hosted on their own website. Avoid this IR light, but more importantly, avoid MaeckerVR completely. Fake reviews means you have no way of knowing what you're getting. Posted on 5/11/26 and saved for my archives. Ill be watching to see what they do with my actually honest review.

I would not recommend this product, you can't charge the headset whilst using this as it only allows slow charging. That said, it's good for when you're in a dark room and want to watch a quick movie.

This IR light is a game changer, simple and cheap solution to lost tracking without light. I can finally play VRChat in the dark now without being bothered by the light bleed through the nose part/bottom of my quest 3. It helps me feel more immersed in my VR surroundings and interactions. The only complaint I have is that the simultaneous charging through the light is poor with my BOBOVR B100 battery pack. Eventually I have to take the light off and turn the lights back on to continue playing after a while to keep my headset charging. Yes the light gets a little hot but it won’t burn you or anything. Good investment, it works and took roughly 2 weeks shipping from China.
